The SEAISI Conference & Trade Exhibition has established itself as one of the most important meeting places at worldwide level for top executives and key players operating in the steel sector.
This year the 4-days Conference will be held in Manila, Philippines, from the 25th to the 28th of May, and will host speakers from many different countries to provide a unique insight into the latest trends and technologies in the steel sector, and share information with peers.
In specific, this year’s conference will focus on “Creating and Delivering Value in the ASEAN Steel Industry”.
Once again, PERT Commercial Director, Matteo Tomba, will be speaking at the Conference and analyse how the rebar production is currently shaping the building sector in the ASEAN economies.
“Rebar is today a relatively low value-added product, and is the most widely used construction material in the ASEAN economies” says Mr. Tomba; “Several new plants have been recently established in the area; however, the only way to achieve a real competitive advantage in such a tough market is to offer a final product of the highest standards of quality, while keeping the operational costs as low as possible.”
Mr Tomba will discuss how PERT cutting-edge technologies effectively help reduce the production costs and achieve consistent savings in a market characterised by very tight profit margins, and by a strong need for innovative technological solutions.
Together with PERTEco process engineer Ms Silvia Cattarino, Mr Matteo Tomba will also speak at the METEC Trade Fair & 2nd ESTAD conference to be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from the 15th to the 19th of June.
